![]() Time to Kill BorutoĪ little more than halfway into the episode we get a scene of Naruto assuring Boruto that he’s going to protect him regardless of what the other Kage think he should do. And, although Naruto doesn’t want to have to kill his own son, he does know that it’s for the greater good. So, the implication here is that Naruto needs to do something about Boruto while he still can. This time, Boruto won’t be in the picture, Naruto doesn’t have Kurama, Sasuke doesn’t have his Rinnegan, and the other Kage are in their respective nations.īasically, there’s no way for Momoshiki to be stopped if his revival is successful. The last time Momoshiki was around, it took the combined effort of all five Kage, Sasuke, and Boruto to take him down. Naruto isn’t strong enough to defeat him. But, as Gaara points out, once Momoshiki is revived, it’s probably too late. Naruto tells the other Kage that he’ll be willing to do whatever it takes if the time comes that Momoshiki is revived.
